SCOTTISH MACHINE KNITTERS ASSOCIATION

 north east of Perth on the A93

Saturday, 15 May 2010 from 10-00am until 4-00pm 

Tickets are available now until 1 May 2010 from Mrs Nancy Munro, 4 Laurieston Park, Balfarg, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 6YJ at £5.00 (tickets will be £6.00 on the door).  Please send an s.a.e for the return of your tickets.  Cheques should be made payable to "Scottish Machine Knitters Association". The price of the ticket includes a voucher for a free cup of tea or coffee. 

Members of Scottish Machine Knitters will also receive a £2.00 Voucher along with their May Newsletter which they will be able to spend at the stalls during the day.

There will be a competition during the Show for an Original Hand or Machine Knitted Wall Hanging which can include small amounts of other crafts. There is no entry fee for the competition.  Please let our Secretary, Frances Murray know the approx size of your hanging by 1 April 2010 so she can order the correct size of supports to hang them.  Each wall hanging should incorporate some sort of hanging arrangement so they can be displayed.  These wall hangings will be on show and judged by a panel on the day.  Entries will be received until 11-00am on 15 May, any arriving late will not be included in the judging.  Your wall hanging should be accompanied by written details of its construction - please give as much detail as you can. Would you also attach your name to the back of the hanging.  The winners will be announced during the Show.

Please note there is no cash machine available at the racecourse.
